🎯 Lazy Leagues: Rules & Format
Whether you're just starting out or already in a league, here’s how it all works:
🔥 How Matches Work: Matches are played as Best of 5 legs (501). A camera must be on during every match to ensure fair play.
🌍 Challenge Anyone: You can play anyone, in any league, at any time. There are 12 divisions, ranging from Bronze III to the Premier League.
📈 Starting Out: Your starting division is based on your DartsCounter average. This ensures you're placed with players of a similar skill level from the start. 👉 Post your average in the league allocation chat to be placed.
🏆 How You Score: You earn points for every leg you win. More points for beating a higher-league opponent. Slightly fewer for beating a lower-league opponent. Upload your games using our Brand New Web App which is in the community :)
📅 Season Format: Each season runs for 2 weeks. You must play a minimum of 10 matches to be eligible for promotion or prizes.
At the end of each season, all points reset and the leaderboard starts fresh.
📊 Averages After 10 Games: Once you’ve played 10 games, only matches that increase your average points per game will count toward your ranking. This encourages players to keep playing without the risk of dropping down the leaderboard due to a single off-day.
🔺 Promotion & Relegation: At the end of each season: Top performers are promoted and lowest scorers are relegated. The more legs you win, the higher you climb.
💥 Bonus Points: Earn extra points for standout moments: +50 for a 180/171, +50 for a bullseye checkout, +50 for any checkout over 100 📝 Mention these when you upload your games.
